How to Clean Your Dog's Ears
Transcript: Hi I’m Nancy from Legendary Canine and in this video I’m going to show you how to clean your dog’s ears.
You should make cleaning your dog’s ears part of your regular grooming routine.
If your dog has floppy ears, swims a lot or even loves running around in the woods getting dirty, you should clean you dog’s ears on a weekly basis. This just gives you a chance to get in there and make sure that nothing’s wrong. The sooner you can identify a problem the less cost and stress it will be.
When you are inspecting you dog’s ears, look for any sort of inflammation or foul smelling ear odors. You know that funky ear smell dogs can get…
To start, you’re going need:
- An ear cleaning solution like our 100% Natural Ear Cleaner for Dogs, it works great and it smells amazing.
- You’re also going to need some cotton pads, a cotton ball or even some simple tissues.
- A quiet place.
You can start by simply placing a little bit of ear cleaning solution onto your vessel. Use that vessel to gently rub inside their ear from base to tip. Repeat this for both ears until your vessel comes back with very little gunk.
Most importantly, remember to be patient and never ever force anything deep inside their ear. Above all, your dog’s safety and comfort are extremely important.
In addition, if your dog needs a break, that’s okay. Let them regroup, you can start again at anytime.
That’s it!
To conclude, cleaning your dog’s ears is super easy and it’s a great way to make sure that your dog stays healthy.
